Leigh Cambre, Founder & OWNER

Born a 6th generation Texan and a lifelong resident, Leigh eagerly attended the University of Texas at Austin, securing two degrees; in Communication Studies and Deaf Education. Diplomas in hand, he moved to NYC to pursue a career in performing with no formal experience or training and did quite well (on the non-union, regional theatre circuit…ha!). As his sideline career of catering did a great job of paying his bills, he noticed an opportunity to create a staffing and event company like no other—one that reflected what people appreciated most about Leigh—his gregarious personality, unmatched attention to detail, and consummate professionalism. With that first in mind, Leigh created Alexander Staffing and is proud to share it with the world.

MIke VIGNA, CEO

Mike is a recruiting industry veteran known for building teams that exceed expectations. Having worked with national and international staffing organizations, along with startup ventures, he understands the importance of servicing clients, candidates and collaborating with leadership on the optimal path for them to secure the best talent. His extensive track record includes working with the restaurant industry’s leading operators and celebrity chefs. Education is also a passion of his, so he is an advisory board member for Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, supporting the mission and placements of future culinary talent.

 

NAYELI ALMARAZ, BOOKER

Nayeli was born in Tijuana, Mexico and made her way to NYC via San Diego > Los Angeles > Brooklyn. She now resides upstate where she works from her quaint cottage as Alexander Staffing's Booker. Her previous experience in hospitality includes owning her own small catering company which she started through her love of cooking for others. When she freshly arrived in Brooklyn, she dabbled in work as a cocktail waitress and a server, although she always knew her passion lay in administrative work and in hiring the best people in the industry. She now gets to do just that and is happy and proud to be an integral part of the Alexander Staffing work family.

SARAH LYONS, ASSISTANT

Born and raised on the sunny Gulf Coast of Florida, Sarah made her way south to attend the University of Miami - go Canes! After receiving a degree in Business Administration, she stayed in Miami for 17 years spending the majority of her professional experience in non-profit operations. Recently she moved back to her hometown, purchased her grandmother’s house and is enjoying renovating a home with her husband that holds so many special childhood memories. She now loves using her specialties at Alexander Staffing to provide critical support to the entire team.
